Our Volunteers

 

The majority of volunteers for The American Fine Wine Competition are students of hospitality at FIU Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. They make up a team of individuals who are not only devoted to the hospitality industry, but also are passionate about wine. These are our “Wine Angels”. Other volunteers include local wine enthusiasts and professionals in the wine industry.

Professors from the Chaplin School, Nathan Dodge, Oren Hertz, Dr. Barry Gump, Chef John Masi, Brian Connors, and administrator Dawn Fagnan also volunteer their time and are an integral part of making the AFWC a success.
