The American Fine Wine Competition has been bringing recognition to the best wines produced in America for the past thirteen years.
Established in 2013, THE Rosé was the first and only wine competition in the United States to seek out the best and most compelling Rosé wines on the planet.
Founder Bob Ecker realized that fine Rosé wines deserved respect, recognition, and love – from consumers and the trade alike. In 2017 he partnered with Shari Gherman, President of the American Fine Wine and brought the competition to South Florida where it has flourished. Hundreds of US and international Rosé wines participate hoping to be named the best Rosé in the world.
Following the judging, an exciting, wine, food and fun-filled fundraising event is hosted. “Fifty Shades of Pink” attracts hundreds of professional businessmen/women and offers wineries an opportunity to showcase their wines. Partners of the AFWC also have an opportunity to meet these enthusiastic attendees and promote their business.
The 11th installment of THE Rosé will take place on April 20th, 2024
at FIU Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
